TiVo to Offer iPod Support
Posted on November 21, 2005
TiVo owners will soon be able to transmit shows from TiVo to their computer and iPod according to a new announcement reported by the New York Times. TiVo has set up a website called TiVo Togo that explains the process and the system requirements.
Jim Denney, TiVo's vice president of product marketing, tells the Times, "This is another thing we can do to add value for our subscribers. We've seen reasonable demand and interest from people to bring their videos with them."
You can also use the PSP to watch TiVo shows in addition to the iPod. There could be DRM software issues involved when transferring some shows. An unofficial TiVo Blog says you could also use a product called AutoPilot.
