Squarespace Super Bowl XLVIII Ad Brings Crazy Side of the Internet to Life
Posted on February 1, 2014
Squarespace, a web publishing platform, will run an ad durring Super Bowl XLVIII. The ad brings the crazy of the Internet to life. There's a lot going on in the commercial. There are viruses, traffic counters, trolls, spam and people who want you to like photos of their babies. There is also a mayor and an epic fail. This is the 60-second extended version of the ad.
The creative concept was developed by Squarespace's in-house creative team and directed by Malcolm Venville. David Lee, chief creative officer for Squarespace, says, "We love the Internet, but I think we all agree that it can be a better place. Our purpose is to make the web a bit more thoughtful and considered, one website at a time - that's what we wanted to communicate with this spot."
