Prototype Aero Train Hovers Inches Above the Ground

Japanese scientists have channeled the Landspeeder from Star Wars with a new prototype train, called Aero Train, that floats inches above the track. The prototype train plane vehicle uses wings and propellers to float just above the ground. Spectrum says the train can reach a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). The train-plane reduces friction by never coming into contact with the ground. However, the wings make the vehicle extra wide. The beauty of the Star Wars Landspeeder is it was not very wide.
