Microsoft Releases Windows 8 Beta

Microsoft released its Windows 8 software into public beta for the first time today. The new software features a much different user interface that includes a tile-based start screen. The software is for both tablets and PCs. The beta version, called Windows 8 Consuer Preview, was introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
