HRP-4 Robot Designed to Perform Menial Labor

Pink Tentacle reports that this 5-foot tall, 86 pound robot called the HRP-4 was designed to do menial labor.
The felixible, dexterous robot has 34 joints. It has enough balance to stand on one foot. It can follow commands, recognize faces and track objects. Kawada Industries plans to sell the robots for around $300,000. Here is a demonstration of the HRP-4. HRP-4 watches a human move a ball around near the end of the video. Take a look:
