Google Releases Google Zeitgeist With Data on Top 2010 Search Terms

Google has released the Google Zeitgeist for 2010. Some of the top global events of the year were the World Cup, Haiti earthquake, BP oil spill and the Icelandic ash cloud. Anne Espiritu explains some of the top Google search trends for the year in the Google Beat video below. She says geek was chic in 2010 with hot tech products, such as the iPad, being one of the top search trends. Some of the fastest rising searches of the year included Glee, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Chatroulette, Facebook and Twitter. Take a look:
