Google is Mapping Mount Fuji

CNN was with Google as it attempted to map Mount Fuji, the world's tallest volcano. The mapping will allow people to explore the volcano from their desks at home. CNN's Diana Magnay says the weather has been perfect for the climb. Google will have to process the data before the maps go online. It could be a couple months from the when the data is recorded before it goes live.
It is interesting that Google is mapping more and more remote places. Take a look:
