Google Finally Provides AdWords Content Guidelines

ClickZ reports that Google now gives a better picture of what text ads it will and will not accept as part of its text advertising program. Google now provides AdWords content guidelines and editorial guidelines. Clickz's Kevin Newcomb reported that Google's secretive nature about its AdWords content guidelines has frustated advertisers in the past.
Some of the items Google will not allow in AdWords include alcohol, bulk messaging services (spam), illegal drugs, fake ID services, miracle cures, radar jammers, tobacco-related products and weapons.
Update: Google AdWords editorial standards information can now be found here. Excessive use of capitalization is one of the things not allowed. Advertisers can also not use exclamations in the headline. Bullet points and ellipses are also not allowed.
