Google Co-founder Larry Page to Take Over as CEO of Google

Google co-founder Larry Page will be taking over as CEO of Google in April. Former CEO Eric Schmidt will become Executive Chairman. You can read a statement from Google here.
The move was unexpected, but welcomed by some analysts. Mark Mahaney, an analyst at Citigroup, told Bloomberg, "We view this as evidence of the founders staying fully engaged in the business -- a positive."
