Google Beat: Top Searches for Week Ending October 1

Anne Espiritu reports on the week's hottest Google Search trends for the week ending October 1st. Some of the hottest searches included Bishop Eddie Long, Modern Family, Dean Kamen, segway and Tony Curtis. Katy Perry's Elmo shirt on SNL generated a lot of searches. Search for segways spiked 700% because of James Heselden's tragic death. The Similac beetle part recall and the Fisher Price ten million toy recall also were hot search items. Take a look:
