Consumerpedia.org Launches User Built Consumer Resource
Posted on March 29, 2005
Consumerpedia has launched as a "consumer information resource everyone can help build." The site, which looks like a cross between Epinions and Wikipedia, allows users to rate and discuss topics -- and also to create and define the relationships between the different topics. Currently, new users are suggesting topics on the site like "carpet" and "HDTV." The website is still in its infancy.
Update 7-25-14: The consumerpedia.org website is no longer active.
